Gooday all!

While developing some of the more concrete features that will enable this project to gain a more official standing and formulating plans for monetization, it became apparent that Disc Golf VR needed some branding and marketing love, and that starts with a proper name (as DGVR was always temporary, anyway). Something that is memorable, relevant, and most importantly searchable.

So, I am here to introduce to you the new name for the game.

Disc Benders: Ace Run

Or, you can just call it Disc Benders for short!

It's the thought that all players will be disc benders, being able to bend and curve the disc to their will (Kind of like an 'Airbender'). There are a lot of factors that go into naming something, and I had to build in some leeway for scenarios where the game expands beyond disc golf, although that is and may well be the sole/primary focus for Disc Benders. If we do things right, 'throwing a disc in VR' might be a long-term mechanic that could go many ways into many modes.

Since the support and popularity of this game concept has grown so great and quickly, and in light of this new face lift, I have decided to structure everything under a single development and publishing arm, that I am calling Free Fall Studios. All content, updates, posts, videos, and social media outlets will now be under this guise. So make sure to keep your finger on the pulse for any further progress :)

The destinations for the game, namely SideQuest and Itch will stay the same, but all materials will be swapped out for the new ones!
